Time for a new post...

Asher sound asleep in his crib...unfortunately we had to leave the house and I had to wake him early.

Shiloh helping me make breakfast. He loves to help me in the kitchen. Perhaps he will be a chef...master chef junior here we come! Note how cute he looks in footie pj's. Also note he was not overly happy I was taking this picture.

Asher chowing down on a piece of homemade pizza (Mr. Westerman your cooking lesson has been well appreciated - we have pizza every Saturday) I tried to feed him some puree and he threw a huge fit until I handed him some pizza. He's a big boy now.

I have no words. He is just too cute.

Piñata time and the neighbors birthday party. Shiloh did not care for the blindfold.

Jude's turn at the piñata.

How cute is this kid? I love the little hood.

Waiting for some food. Let me try these fingers.

Sorry J.J. Watt

Sorry J.J. Watt. My 2 year old, Shiloh, has very few words: Jude, Baby, Blue, Cookie, Mimi, Pops and a few other. So I Extremely surprised and a tad bit pleased when he said, "J.J. Watt" as clear as could be on Sunday after you made a great play. I then of course proceeded to ask him who is favorite football player is and who's the best. And I'm sorry J.J. Watt but he did not say you and it looks like you may have some competition.

Logic

“Logic!" said the Professor half to himself. "Why don't they teach logic at these schools?

― C.S. LewisThe Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Jude is developing his logic. Here is a conversation I overheard this morning:

Jude: "These are my magic gloves." (Please note he was wearing white socks on his hands and pretending he must protect Elsa and Anna)

Chad: "What happens if you take your gloves off?"

Jude: "Then I wouldn't be wearing magic gloves."

Trick or Treat and Fall Festival

We had a great weekend. On Friday we dressed up and went trick or treating in our neighborhood (if you have issues with the fact that we participated in Halloween I would love to talk to you and tell you why we did - but I'm not going to blog about it right now because I think it is a subject that I would do more justice to in person - so don't leave me any negative feedback). On Saturday we went to the fall festival at my Granny's church.

We dressed up both days! I love to dress up it is so fun! Here are some pictures of our Halloween Fun:

The Turtle (he went as a ninja turtle to tkd in this costume, I just added orange arm band and nun chucks cause we just had them laying around).

The Lion

 Lion, Monkey and Turtle

Noah's Ark. Behold my beautiful creation. I used card board and blue paper for the boat and I got super crafty and used tissue paper and mode podge glue for the rainbow. I styled my self with my Granny's moo-moo and a pillow case to be Noah's wife. And Noah's wife was not named in the Bible I checked twice because Jude kept asking her name.

Noah and the Animals on the Ark.

The Lion and Han Solo (my friends little boy Tim - what a cutie!)

 Granny and the boys.

My Granny is awesome! She dressed up as a Skunk! haha!

Pumpkin Love

We are in love with pumpkins!

Our pumpkin love extends to: pumpkin spice lattes (homemade of course because we don't do those nasty ingredients found in Starbucks...I still haven't gotten it just right and it is hard to compete with a memory of perfection but last year when I tired the Starbucks latte it was terrible tasting so at least my homemade is better than that), pumpkin muffins, pumpkin baked oatmeal, etc. I am going to put pumpkin in my chili tonight so hopefully that goes over well.

In addition to the deliciousness of pumpkin there is pumpkin painting:

Zoo Boo!

It's October! Which means the Zoo Boo is happening...or at least it was the past 3 weekends. And of course since we love the zoo the zoo boo was a must. We enjoyed the animals and the mini pumpkin patch!

Here are pictures from our time:

On a sad note:

Shiloh was exhausted and needed a nap and threw a terrible temper tantrum...
