What did you do today?

Of all the questions I get I think one of my most hated is, "what did you do today?" Why do I hate this because most often I feel like I can't think of what we did that seems impressive or awesome. I mean really. I did the dishes 4 times, changed 10-20 diapers, washed laundry (or diapers), picked up thousands of toys, spanked at least one of the boys, nursed Asher, bathed Shiloh and who know what else. Staying at home is not very often glamorous but I love it. Here are some random pictures of what we do.

Shiloh helping carry stuff to the car while wearing Granny's shoes.

Baby wearing. Love it. Asher likes to face out all the time now.

I saw on Facebook an idea for quiet blocks. So I tried it. You cut up pool noodles and then use them like blocks.

Castle walls that the boys built. After building they of course knocked it over. But hey it was fun.

My water wrap - to baby wear in the pool - I may be a little into baby wearing.

So sweet. Shiloh likes to hold Asher's hand in the car. They both fell asleep.

We bought a wagon. The boys love it.

Owl at the zoo.

Shiloh discovered that if he stood over the hole it would spray people.

I think he put the water in his mouth. Yuck!

You know they are tired when the sit and lay down in the middle of a splash pad.

Lone Star Yogi

Yesterday we decided to visit the Jellystone Park in Waller. It is Chad's week off from work and we had been throwing around the idea of going to SeaWorld. The only problem with going to SeaWorld is it was way to expensive for us right now. Especially when you factor in eating and gas. Not to mention the dilemma of wether to drive up and stay the night before or just make a day trip of it. Also Asher hates the car (still). So we nixed the SeaWorld plan and decided to go to Jellystone. We had a blast. It was much cheaper and the drive was under thirty minutes!

The family with Yogi!

There was a really cool put put golf so we gave it a go. Shiloh used his golf club like a big push broom. So cute.

Jude using the sweep method.

Daddy trying to show Shiloh how to gold properly.

The boys lost interest pretty quickly. They were too excited about the water park. But they did enjoy climbing the landscaping rocks the mini golf course offered.

Being two months is hard work. Mr. Asher needed lots of naps.

Daddy helping the boys float the lazy river. Poor kids slipped right through the tubes.

Chad floating.

Shiloh trying to jump in the water.

The following pictures don't really need explaining so I'm not going to :)

We had a blast. We wish that we had thought of this weeks ago and had planned to stay there. We want to go back and stay in a cabin for 2-3 nights. There was so much more to do but we were all wore out.

Another Picture Post!

I'm not getting around to posting my pictures and stories as often as I would like so this is a big catch up of what we have been up to:

Jude and Shiloh love to play games! Their favorites include: Sneaky Snacky Squirrel, Don't Break the Ice and Hungry Hungry Hippos. I'm not sure which is the worst but its either the ice or hippo for sure. Ice takes so long to set up and Hippo is soooooo loud.

Shiloh got a hold of Pop's water gun at All-Star Martial Arts' 10 Year Anniversary Party. He loved it!

Though a little gun Jude was quite effective with it. The boys love water guns.

Pops and Shiloh going down the big water slide.

Cool action shot of Jude jumping on the big blow up slide at The Connections School field day. We popped in to have lunch with Daddy and the boys enjoyed the jumpy things.

Batboy and Spider-baby. Enough said.

Family picture at the pool's first opening. Chad said, "summer is official" to which my witty older brother responded "its not official until the solstice."

Waiting for the swim break to end so we can go in the water.

Shiloh crashed on the way home from the pool.

Rub a dub dub three boys (and a momma) in a tub.

Neighborhood peacocks visiting our house. Boker was beyond himself with excitement.

Lilah sleeping in my bed.

An almost smile.

Head gear of shame. Poor Boker looked so sad.

Chilin' in the swing.

Shiloh and his friend Tim playing with hair spray bottles.

And then there where 2. Sadly the Aloe plant has died.

Daddy Dos. Hair cuts for kids can get pricy and I was unhappy with the last couple we paid for and I thought why pay $12-$15 for a bad hair cut? I can give them one for free!

Somewhat sad face.

Really sad face. Obviously it is pure torture to have your hair cut.

Transfixed by the TV. I try to limit our TV usage but in order to cut hair we make exceptions.

Time out for little Mr. Fussy Pants. And I can tell you that we were watching Friends and Heroes. Thank you JellyTelly for providing us with a fun Bible Animated show!
